RIA Compound Planning on Thursday announced the addition of four advisors, along with new appointments to its leadership team.
The firm added 30 total advisors last year, including the four announced on Thursday, surpassing the 10 advisors who joined it in 2023 and doubling its assets under management (AUM) in 2024 over the prior year.
Compound’s AUM was $1.4 billion as of December 2023, growing to $2.8 billion in one year, the company said. Its high net worth clients include entrepreneurs, professionals, families and retirees.
“We’re thrilled to continue expanding our team, as these strategic hires position our firm for sustained growth in 2025 and beyond,” said Alex Farman-Farmaian, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Compound Planning.
“We’re humbled that Compound’s value proposition resonated so deeply within the advisor, and broader wealth management, communities over the past year,” according to Farman-Farmaian.
“While I’m proud of our firm’s recent success, I also know that we have a long runway for continued growth, and we will remain committed to offering advisors and high-net-worth clients the modern advisory solutions they deserve,” he added.
Newest Advisors

The four new advisors, recruited by the firm in late 2024, have more than 50 years of cumulative wealth advisory experience between them, Compound said.
The new advisors are: Matt Faubion, who has over 12 years of wealth advisory experience, five spent leading his own RIA; Jakub Kubrak, with more than 15 years of experience in financial services; Dimitry Farberov, with 17 years of experience including capital markets, technical analysis and behavioral finance to craft customized solutions that optimize tax strategies, estate planning and portfolio management for clients; and Michael Hunter, who previously served as an advisor for firms including Edward Jones.
Kubrak focuses on long-term financial planning for retirees, business owners, founders and early employees, as well as family offices and institutions, Compound pointed out. He previously held positions at Fisher Investments, J.P. Morgan and Texas Capital Bank.
Farberov most recently spent four years at Miracle Mile Advisors and Hunter spent over a decade heading advisor teams.
Faubion, Kubrak and Farberov previously managed a total of about $425 million.
Hunter led a team of eight advisors who managed about $2 billion, according to Compound.
Executive Appointments

Compound also announced the appointments of Allison Tully as Head of Trading; Steve Fallat as Head of Engineering; Joey Silva as Head of Finance; and Nelson Arnous as Head of Product.
Tully has 20 years of experience managing and trading complex investment portfolios, focusing on ultra-high net worth clients, said Compound. She will “leverage her background in both buy- and sell-side trading to support the firm’s rapid AUM growth,” according to the firm.
Fallat, meanwhile, has more than 20 years of software development experience, spent nine years at Amazon and was the VP of Software Engineering at Fetch Rewards.
Silva previously held roles at Notable, Blend and Palantir over the past 10 years before joining Compound.
Arnous has more than eight years of experience in product, corporate strategy and operations. He initially joined Compound as a product manager, focusing on investment and performance reporting. Arnous will now oversee the firm’s full product suite, it said.
