San Francisco-based Perigon Wealth Management added David Scarpello as Chief Financial Officer, Brian McGunnigle as Director of Operations and Debra Dunham as Director of Transitions and Integrations. McGunnigle’s and Dunham’s roles are newly created. The management team additions are intended to support the firm’s continued expansion through organic growth and acquisitions.
“A decade ago, Perigon had two locations and less than $150 million in assets under management,” CEO Arthur Ambarik said in a release. “We’re now at nearly 20 locations and approximately $8.2 billion. This kind of growth needs additional executive and operational expertise to capitalize on new opportunities, and we’re thrilled to have attracted such incredible talent to our team.”
Scarpello was previously CFO at Pathstone, where he led M&A support, financial and accounting practices, and strategic financial planning efforts. Prior to Pathstone, he served as CFO and in other executive roles at several financial services and fintech providers.
He replaces Chuck Pinson-Rose, who continues at the firm as Managing Director, Finance and Investment, and will dedicate more time to his role as an investment advisor.

McGunnigle held a similar role at the Mather Group. He has 25 years of experience and will report to Chief Investment Officer Rafia Hasan, who joined the firm in July from Wipfli.
Dunham held a similar role at The Colony Group. She will report to Maria Daley, the firm’s Head of Advisor Success and Integration.
In June, Perigon acquired New York-based Creative Financial Planning. In January, Constellation Wealth Capital made a minority investment in Perigon.
