Get The Essentials On The IRI Annual Conference, Insurance Innovators USA And The LIMRA Annual Conference

Are you not sure which of the seemingly infinite number of wealth management industry and industry-adjacent conferences you need to attend this year?

That is precisely why WSR launched a Guide To Industry Conferences series in which we explain when and where the crucial events are scheduled to be held. We also point out who attends and why. This entry in the series covers insurance conferences for 2024.

Insurance is a space that financial advisors should understand so they can provide the best and most helpful guidance to their clients, whether they are mass affluent clients who need basic life and long-term care insurance, or they are ultra-high net worth clients who need advanced trust and estate planning solutions.

Below we explore the key details of attending the Insured Retirement Institute’s IRI Annual Conference, Insurance Innovators USA and the Life Insurance Marketing and Research Association’s LIMRA Annual Conference.

The IRI Annual Conference, which is hosted by the Insured Retirement Institute, will be held from April 2-4 in Nashville, Tennessee. About 500 attendees gather from companies including life insurers, asset managers, broker-dealers, banks, marketing organizations, law firms and solution providers.

The event addresses business, technology, political and regulatory issues that impact the insurance and annuity supply chain for retired individuals. It kicks off with welcoming remarks by IRI President and Chief Executive Officer Wayne Chopus, followed by a fireside chat, moderated by him, with three industry CEOs: Bruce Donaldson of Simplicity Group, Jasmine Jirele of Allianz Life Insurance Co. and Andrew Schlossberg of Invesco.
