Firm Serving Fintech And Financial Services Continues Buildout Of Leadership Team

Consultancy firm Intention.ly, which serves fintech and financial services firms, announced the addition of marketing and communications veterans Jess Flynn and Marni Dacy as Directors of Account Strategy to provide senior guidance and strategic oversight.

The firm’s CEO and Co-Founder, Kelly Waltrich, said, “Jess and Marni’s unique and expansive experience in the world of financial marketing and communications is exactly what we look for.

The skill Jess brings in mobilizing support for cutting-edge initiatives, combined with Marni’s proven ability to foster growth through both traditional and innovative marketing methods, will undoubtedly enrich the level of service we provide to our clients.”

Dacy most recently served almost 12 years in various roles at Nasdaq, including AVP Marketing and Director, Global Marketing. During the time she led index marketing at Nasdaq, it was one of the most rapidly expanding revenue lines at the firm.

Flynn arrives from FP Transitions, where she spent two years as Communications Director as she led a brand refresh and was involved in the preparation of Next Gen leadership. She also served in various roles at the Financial Planning Association for almost 10 years, including Managing Director, Strategic Partnerships.

Dacy said, “I’ve been watching what Kelly and Meghan have been building from afar and am overjoyed to be a part of this team. The talent they have assembled is second to none, and I am thrilled to be working alongside them.”

“I’m excited about the endless possibilities for collaboration and innovation that lie ahead – although ‘fintech’ has dramatically transformed this industry, what hasn’t changed over the last 15 years is how these platforms, SaaS and even broker-dealers, attract ideal clients,” said Flynn. “This team is an amplified force doing just that, driving measurable growth for today’s major firms.”

In September, Intention.ly launched a proprietary branding solution called Advisor Brand Builder. WSR named the firm to the IMAGE 10: Top 10 Wealth Management Marketing & Communications Agencies in May.

The additions of Dacy and Flynn are the most recent in the firm’s buildout of its executive bench. In July, the firm onboarded John DeVincent as Chief Growth Officer and, in November 2022, added Tina Powell, Partner and Chief of Community.
