Second Annual Awards Honor Inspirational Leadership By Women And Men Empowering Women In Wealth Management

Finalists have been announced for the second annual Women in Wealth Management Awards that celebrate and honor inspirational professionals in the wealth management industry. Winners will be announced at the Excell Represent Women in Wealth Awards ceremony on Nov. 15 at the Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida.

“We understand that representation is the compass guiding our industry’s future. This community holds immense power and together, we possess the potential to shape a bright future for us all,” said Siracuse. “It’s important to acknowledge the talented and influential women in the financial advice industry and amplify their stories.”

Excell Represent aims to empower women in wealth management to build community, level up professionally and impact the industry for the better. The full event will take place Nov. 15 and 16, including networking, coaching and panel sessions including “How I Built This: Firm Owner Panel.”

Siracuse continued, “This year’s nominees are the embodiment of positive change in our profession, representing the spirit of problem-solving, innovation and disruption. We take great pride in celebrating and honoring their remarkable achievements.”

Award Categories And Finalists

The awards include seven categories. The Community Impact Award goes to a woman who is giving back to her community. Finalists are Sheryl Hickerson, Founder, Females and Finance; Chloé A. Moore, Founder, Financial Staples; and Barbara Solit, Director of Marketing, Prudent Management Associates.

The Industry Transformer Award honors a woman who is bringing transformation and innovation to the industry through products, services or programs she led or created. Finalists are Katie Burke and Bridget Venus Grimes, Co-Founders, Equita Financial Network; Sonya Dreizler, Co-Founder, Choir; and Hannah Moore, Founder and Principal Financial Planner, Guiding Wealth, and Founder and Owner, Amplified Planning.

The Up & Comer Award goes to a woman who is making a difference at an early stage in her career. Finalists are Diana Cabrices, Founder, Diana Cabrices Consulting; Mikaela Doe, Financial Advisor, North Star Resource Group; and Caroline Knights, Director of Financial Planning Services, Boston Wealth Strategies.

The Excellence in Mentorship & Allyship Award goes to a man or woman who has acted as mentor and ally to women in the industry. Finalists are Kelli Burger, Wealth Management Advisor, Partner, Weatherly Asset Management; Molly Goetz, Partner & Practice Lead, Greenspring Advisors; and Kelli Kiemle, Managing Director of Growth and Client Experience, Halbert Hargrove.

The Career of Excellence Award honors a woman with at least 15 years in the industry who has demonstrated leadership, success and an ability to effect change. Finalists are Cheryl Nash, Chief Customer Executive, InvestCloud; Susan Theder, Chief Marketing and Experience Officer, FMG; and Mindy Lee Ying, Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor & Managing Director, Wealth Enhancement Group.

The Backstage Star Award recognizes a woman whose management makes the firm operate smoothly. Finalists are Karen Garcia, Chief Operating Officer, First Ascent Asset Management;

Whitney Fogle Lewis, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, U.S. Wealth Management, AlTi Tiedemann Global; and Lindsey Fiske Thompson, Director of Strategy & Resources, Partner, Weatherly Asset Management.

The Transition Triumph Award goes to a woman who started in operations and transitioned successfully to a financial advisor. Finalists are Melissa Fernalld, Senior Advisor, Strategic Financial Services; Shannon Herrell, Director of Advisor Development & Operations, Wealth Planner, Carson Wealth; and Anasuya Kabad, Financial Advisor, Jaykay Wealth Advisors.
