Acquisition Strengthens AXG’s Customized Insurance Offerings For UHNW Clients And Families
Ultra-high net worth (UHNW) insurance and risk mitigation solutions provider AXG Advisors announced its acquisition of Wynnewood, Pennsylvania-based Rose Glen, which integrates financial and insurance solutions for wealth transfer, preservation and accumulation for UHNW clientele nationwide.
Morey Goldberg, Founder and CEO of Rose Glen, mentored George Papanier, Principal and co-founder of AXG, for several years prior to Papanier’s launch of AXG in 2019 with co-founder and Principal Adam Pauska. Goldberg joins AXG as a senior advisor, and the majority of Rose Glen’s leadership team will continue with AXG.
Papanier said, “This acquisition of Rose Glen’s operations will provide continuity and security for all the clients and stakeholders involved. All of us at AXG are grateful to continue the Rose Glen legacy by maintaining the same high standards and level of expertise that their clients have come to expect.”
Pauska explained that his firm goes beyond using insurance tools for protection, stating, “Since its inception, the goal of AXG has been to change the private client industry and how our clients mitigate their exposures.” AXG tailors solutions with an “insurance as alternative investment” approach, according to the press release.
Pauska continued, “The addition of Morey and his team will enhance AXG’s private client operations to service the full scope of risk management for our clients.”
The press release states that Rose Glen takes a long-term view for their clients and the clients’ heirs, including wealth allocation among family and charitable organizations.
“Another responsibility vital to wealth preservation is the mitigation of the transfer tax burden,” said Goldberg.
Goldberg continued, explaining that Rose Glen’s clients appreciate the firm’s interactions with other advisors “in order to integrate the implementation of and revisions to our strategies over time, as comprehensive reviews are completed.”
Rose Glen also provides corporations with solutions for disability and long-term care coverage, voluntary disability plans and deferred compensation.
