Docupace, Snappy Kraken And Advyzon Win For Wealthtech Firm Of The Year

The WSR Wealth Exemplar Awards Wealthtech Firm of the Year goes to the top three firms providing technology solutions for firms that operate within the non-institutional wealth management space. Firms must serve a minimum of $250 million in assets.

Docupace

Docupace is a cloud-based, integrated software suite that aims to reduce back-office expenses, improve efficiency, strengthen recruiting and enhance the experience of advisors and investors. The company was founded in 2002. It serves 112 enterprise clients, including independent broker-dealers, RIAs, asset managers and banks across approximately 233,760 advisors, their assistants and home-office personnel and other users.

2022 will mark Docupace’s fifth-straight year of double-digit growth. In the past 18 months, the firm acquired significant new clients in the independent wealth management space such as Allworth, Modern Woodmen and D.A. Davidson. During that time Docupace also acquired jaccomo and PreciseFP; forged new partnerships with Envestnet; and co-launched an AI-driven Intelligent Mailroom with JIFFY.ai


Snappy Kraken

Snappy Kraken provides automated digital marketing campaigns for wealth management firms in the form of original content, multi-step-funnel lead generation, prospect nurturing, niche marketing, client engagement, referral generation and event promotion. The company was founded in 2016 and serves more than 6,000 financial advisors and its content reached more than 11 million investors and consumers last year.

In 2022, Snappy Kraken acquired its integration partner Advisor Websites and expanded availability of Convos, its own compliant advisor-client texting platform, to include broker-dealers in addition to preexisting RIAs. 

The company recently synched with customer relationship management (CRM) providers SalesforceRedtail Technology and Wealthbox on bidirectional data integrations to maximize real-time data flow. This year Snappy Kraken also helped Orion Advisor Solutions release the Redtail Campaigns CRM-based RIA marketing technology suite. 

Hailin Li, CEO, Advyzon

Advyzon is a technology platform for advisors and investment managers that provides portfolio management, customizable performance reporting, trading and rebalancing, client web portals, CRM, client billing and document storage. The company, which was founded in 2012 and completed product launch more than 8 years ago, now serves over 1,200 RIAs.

It added more than 600 new client relationships during the last three years while maintaining a 94% retention rate and grew revenue by 154% during that time period. In the past year, Advyzon launched the integrated Quantum rebalancer and Advyzon Investment Management turnkey asset management platform (TAMP). In March, Advyzon Product Manager Kelly Fitzpatrick won a Top Women Rising Stars WSR Pathfinder Award.
