Digital Communications Regtech Provider Names Mike Cagle As Chief Financial Officer And Leander LeSure As Chief People & Diversity Officer
Smarsh, a digital communications compliance and intelligence provider for organizations including financial services firms, appointed Mike Cagle as Chief Financial Officer and Leander LeSure as Chief People & Diversity Officer. They will focus on helping guide the regulatory technology (regtech) and software company through its next phase of growth.
“As the regulatory landscape continues to evolve and our company’s growth accelerates, it is essential that we have a leadership team that has proven experience with SaaS solutions for the financial services and regtech industries,” Kim Crawford Goodman, Chief Executive Officer of Smarsh, said in the press release.
Cagle has over 20 years of experience, with leadership positions overseeing finance, growth acceleration and operational efficiencies, according to the press release. He previously served as the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis at Veeam Software, an enterprise SaaS backup-and-recovery provider.
LeSure also has over 20 years of experience, with a focus on global human resources. He previously held senior positions at Western Union and American Express and is a U.S. Navy veteran. LeSure has steered complex change management initiatives and talent management strategies, according to the press release.
Smarsh builds solutions encompassing capture, archiving and oversight by tracking billions of digital messages across email, texts, social media, workplace collaboration tools and more for over 100 digital communications channels. Nine of the top 10 multinational investment banks are among the more than 6,500 customers worldwide that Smarsh serves, as are U.S.-based broker-dealers and RIAs.
In June, Smarsh announced the appointment of Goodman, who has more than 25 years of experience, to the role of CEO. Goodman previously served as Head of Payments and Risk Solutions at Fiserv, CEO of Worldpay US and President of Global Business Travel and Merchant Services Americas for American Express.
