To My Fellow WSR Community Members:
As the cool kids say to avoid profanity, “SHUT THE FRONT DOOR.”
I can’t believe that it’s already been one full year since we first launched Wealth Solutions Report.
Though we feel pretty comfortable these days as a regular fixture of analysis, insights and commentary for the wealth management industry, the reality is that our one-year anniversary is a terrific milestone for us to have reached.
And we couldn’t have achieved this without the ongoing engagement and support we receive each week from all of you, our fellow WSR community members.
Oh, What a Year
In the past year, we’ve produced multiple items of original content week over week. We’ve covered some of the most relevant trends shaping the wealth management industry today, interviewed many dozens of industry leaders and shared data and surveys on what your colleagues in wealth management are doing to grow their businesses effectively.
I hope you found our contributions useful for your business – Certainly, delivering actionable ideas and strategies from wealth management leaders, to wealth management participants continues to be the primary motivating force for the entire WSR team.
And what a year! Over the past 12 months, we’ve continued to crawl forward through a pandemic, gone from “transitory” inflation to active Fed intervention, watched the outbreak of war on the European continent, courtesy of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, with sadness and solidarity. Along the way, we’ve also witnessed an incredible surge and stall in the stock markets.
No one knows what will happen by April 2023, but we will be there with you, keeping you informed, asking how developments impact the industry, clients and financial advisors and searching for the latest trends and growth strategies.

- Our monthly Bizarre Industry Bazaar covers the latest unusual happenings around the industry, and though these appear like April Fools’ jokes, each is a true story from a reputable outlet. Fasten your seatbelts for pitching a failed tequila producer, yet another Ponzi scheme, misogyny at the bank, the reformation of the ranting racist advisor and more weird news.
